Amiodarone Drug Interactions

Amiodarone (Cordarone®, Pacerone®, Nexterone®) is prescribed for the treatment of certain heart rhythm problems called ventricular arrhythmias. However, this medicine is not appropriate for some people, including those who are taking certain medications. Some of the drugs that may interact with amiodarone include:
 
 
Combining amiodarone with medications such as these may increase your risk for side effects or other potentially life-threatening complications. Before starting treatment, make sure your healthcare provider has a current list of all vitamins, herbal supplements, and prescription and nonprescription medications you are taking.
