Storage Information

The tablets should be stored at room temperature, in a tightly closed container, and away from light. Amiodarone injections will be stored by your healthcare provider. They should be stored at room temperature, in the original carton, and protected from light and excess heat.

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you happen to miss a dose, simply skip it and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.

Cordarone is made by Sanofi Winthrop Industrie and distributed by Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Pacerone is made by Upsher-Smith Pharmaceuticals. Nexterone is made by Baxter Healthcare Corporation. Generic versions of amiodarone are made by several different manufacturers.
