Side Effects of Carvedilol CR

Dizziness, fatigue, and diarrhea are some of the common side effects of carvedilol CR seen in people with congestive heart failure. The most common problems seen in people taking this medication for high blood pressure include nausea and common cold symptoms. While most side effects of this drug are mild, some are potentially serious and require medical attention (such as wheezing, shakiness, or chest pain).

An Introduction to Carvedilol CR Side Effects

As with any medicine, carvedilol CR (Coreg CR®) can cause side effects. However, not everyone who takes the medication will have problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or can easily be treated by you or your healthcare provider.

(This article covers many, but not all, of the possible side effects with carvedilol CR. Your healthcare provider can discuss a more complete list of carvedilol CR side effects with you.)
