Cordarone 200 Mg Tab

Cordarone® (amiodarone hydrochloride) is a prescription medicine used in the treatment of serious irregular heart rhythm problems called ventricular arrhythmias. It comes in the form of tablets that are taken once or twice daily. Your dosage will depend on how you respond to the medication, the severity of your arrhythmia, and various other factors.

The tablets come in one strength -- 200 mg. Cordarone tablets are available in brand-name and generic versions. You will receive your initial doses in the hospital, where you can be carefully monitored. You may need to remain in the hospital for one to three weeks, until your heart rhythm problem is properly controlled.
