Cordarone Tablets

Cordarone® (amiodarone hydrochloride) is a prescription medicine used to treat certain types of arrhythmias that can be fatal. Specifically, Cordarone tablets are used to control the heart rhythm in people who have a potentially life-threatening ventricular arrhythmia and have tried other medications without success.

Cordarone tablets are taken once or twice daily. Side effects are common with this medication, with many people reporting problems like nausea, vomiting, and fatigue.

There is only one strength of these tablets available (200 mg). Your specific dosage, however, will depend on the severity of your arrhythmia, how you respond to the medication, and various other factors.
