Can Children Use It?

Cordarone is not approved for use in children, as it has not been adequately studied in this age group. Talk to your child's healthcare provider about the risks and benefits of using this medicine in children.

Can Older Adults Use It?

There were not enough older adults in Cordarone clinical studies to determine whether they would respond to this medication any differently than younger age groups. However, older adults are more likely to have other medical conditions that may increase their risk for certain Cordarone side effects, and will need to be closely monitored while taking this medication.

Off-Label Uses for Cordarone
