Lung problems are a potential complication with the placement of this device. There are many different lung problems that vary in their seriousness. Common lung problems include pneumonia, fluid build-up, air outside the lung and bleeding. The treatment will vary depending on the problem; however the placement of a plastic tube or surgery are sometimes needed.
