In clinical trials, the
heart medication Lanoxin® (
digoxin) was generally well tolerated. However, adverse effects were reported in some cases. For example, some people taking Lanoxin experienced side effects such as:
Serious reactions also occurred in these trials. However, these adverse effects were not as common. They included things like:
- Hives
- Difficulty breathing
- Hallucinations.
If you develop any side effects during treatment, or if something "just doesn't seem right," let your healthcare provider know right away.
