Available Strengths

Cordarone tablets are available in one strength: Cordarone 200 mg. It used to be available in an injectable form; however, brand-name Cordarone injections are no longer available.

Amiodarone, the active ingredient in Cordarone, is available in an injectable form, either as an injection that must be mixed before use, or as amiodarone premixed injection (Nexterone®). Amiodarone is also available in 100-mg and 200-mg tablets as Pacerone®. Pacerone 200-mg and Cordarone 200-mg tablets are equivalent, which means they can be used in place of each other, if needed.
