Mexitil 200 Mg

Available by prescription only, Mexitil® (mexiletine) comes as a capsule that is taken every 8 or 12 hours. This medication is approved to treat potentially life-threatening heart rhythm problems called ventricular arrhythmias.
 
Only generic versions of Mexitil are available, as the brand-name form is no longer manufactured. These products are made by Teva Pharmaceuticals and come in the following strengths:
 
  • Mexiletine 150 mg
  • Mexiletine 200 mg
  • Mexiletine 250 mg.
