Following your procedure, you will be asked to stay in the hospital. In order to closely observe your heartbeats you will be hooked up to a heart monitor or EKG monitor. While wearing the monitor you will be able to sit up, walk, eat and drink, once you are fully awake and alert. The recovery time will vary depending on your particular circumstances, and some patients might require an overnight stay.
