Tambocor 50 Mg

Available by prescription only, Tambocor™ (flecainide acetate) comes as a tablet that is taken two or three times daily to prevent certain heart rhythm problems. The usual recommended starting dosage is 50 mg to 100 mg of Tambocor taken every 8 or 12 hours. Your healthcare provider may adjust your amount, depending on how you respond to Tambocor.

Your specific dosage will depend on your height and weight (in children), other medical conditions you have, and various other factors. Those who have severe kidney disease may need to use lower Tambocor doses. Possible side effects include headaches, dizziness, and vision problems.
